Matt Bonanno

Matt Bonanno joined General Atlantic as a Managing Director in 2020 and is fully dedicated to the Atlantic Park partnership between General Atlantic and IPC. Prior to joining Atlantic Park, Matt spent nearly 10 years at York Capital Management where he was a Partner, Co-Head of North American Credit and a Portfolio Manager, working in both London and New York focused on special situations and private credit. Prior to York, he worked as an associate focused on restructuring, recapitalization and reorganization transactions at Blackstone. Matt also worked as an investment banker at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Matt earned a BA in History from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of numerous post-bankruptcy private and public companies. He currently serves on the Board of SBP Holdings and is an observer on the Board of Horizon Global. Matt is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Scholarship Fund.
