Mike Whitman

Mike Whitman joined IPC in 2020 as a Partner and is a Portfolio Manager of IPC Private Credit focused on the Atlantic Park vehicle. Prior to joining IPC, Mike worked at Blackstone’s GSO Capital Partners from 2006 through 2019. Based in London from 2007 to 2019, Mikeserved as the Head of the European private credit strategies covering both acquisition finance and rescue lending. Prior to GSO, Mike spent over 11 years in corporate finance, leveraged finance and principal investing at Citigroup and its predecessors Salomon Smith Barney and Salomon Brothers. Mike earned a BA in History from the University of Notre Dame. Mike is a member of the Arts & Letters Advisory Council and the Wall Street Leadership Committee at the University of Notre Dame.
